The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services to your community.
SASSA will be rendering providers such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency reported it's alarmed about the large range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The aim on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your superior quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is as a result of lack of infrastructure SRD at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office committed to service the area daily. The assistance place made for intervention activities a significant inflow of likely beneficiaries, which makes it difficult with the Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more assets to allow the servicing of all customers and maximize use of Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
